i had an mot on my cos and when the old bill pulled me over and did a full roadside check they gave me a bit of paper to get that specific section of the car checked within 7 days and then produce it to the cop shop or they would do me
it was for brakes as they said the rear wheels wern't turning freely like the fronts were and this was because i'd fitted a bias pedal box causing the fault (not that the copper was a muppet and failed the realise that the car was rear wheel drive and so the driveshafts etc were the cause of the free wheeling issues and not the brakes sticking on
)
what was that bit of paper called?

As an Mot examiner i was learnt that if i failed a car that was up early for Mot then im saying its not road worthy as ive failed it for a reason, for example its failed on brakes imbalance, so if its not road worthy then the old mot doesnt stand. If the enforcement stops you and finds something wrong they put a prohibition on the car, your old mot is then no longer valid until you produce your car at the mot centre with these parts fixed. This is northern ireland im talking about. I must ask more questions to see what they say.
