I currently have a ipone 3gs but am getting a bit sick and tired with the running faults it has been developing since the launch of the iphone 4 and the software update that was available at the same time.
What I was wondering is what are people's opinion to a iphone 4 alternative, still needs to be a smartphone but there is so many available and I am abit lost in which direction to go.

is it just me thats a bit cynical about all these iphone 3GS's developing faults since the launch of the iphone 4??? deliberately corrupt software forcing you to upgrade?? And i thought it was just microsoft that deliberately screwed their customers like that!

 

Go with a Google Android phone! If you have the option of getting the Samsung Galaxy S get it! I don't say that becuase I own one, I say it because it is an extremely feature rich slick phone that, in my opinion, outperforms the iPhone 4.

It's got the 1GHz snapdragon processor... comes with Google Android 2.1 with 2.2 coming out (2.2 includes features that improve the efficiency of it resulting in faster user experience and browsing)

The nicest thing about it in my opinion is the screen. Samsungs AMOLED screen is an extremely vibrant screen. It's sex for your eyes, litterally! lol It's thinner than the iPhone 4 and alot lighter than the iPhone 4 plus allows you to CUSTOMIZE the way your desktop looks rather than the mundane iPhone desktop which is just a giant list of ALL your apps (booooriiiing....) check it out, and other Android phones.

I'm not sure what the Windows 7 phones are like but I've heard great things about them seeing as they are built off the Zune interface, which is pretty slick. I used to have a Windows phone and they were GARBAGE GARBAGE GARBAGE!!! but the Windows 7 phones (now that its built off a different interface) is something I would definitely consider. I'm still pro-android but would definitely take a Windows 7 phone over an iPhone ANYDAY. Hope that helps!

Any one used or have opions about any other makes, Sony, Nokia, HTC etc etc.
I also personaly agree with the view that all iphones have started faulting from when Apple released the 4 and software update, which is a shame really as before this I couldn't fault my iphone.

I haven't had any problems with my 3GS since it's update. However, I've had about a million problems with Vista every time it updated since the launch of windows 7....

I had to stop updating it! Been fine since!

Is it possible that your iPhone is just fucked?

Get an iPhone 4 and jailbreak it. They are awesome once jailbroke
The galaxy s feels like a kids toy.

 

How do you do this, and what benefits does it give??
