Anybody know how to unlock a ford radio. My mate Paul has just got his compnay car which is a used focus and hes saying the radio says locked.

Would this be where too many attempts have been made to put the code in?

What can he do with it?

When I've had a locked radio, I switch it on, leave it on for 30 minutes it should then unlock and you can put the code in

 

ok mate thanks, i'll tell him to give it a go. Its really bugging him having to drive round the m25 everyday with no stereo lol.

 

normally it means it has to go back to ford as some idiot has entered wrong code too many times

 

if it says "locked" then you can press and hold 6 and then it will give you one more final chance, but make sure you now know the correct code.

if it just says code and wont let you enter the code then it need the 30 minute wait.
