How many miles do i have left when the fuel light comes on in my car ?
Bought the car yesterday and wondered how many miles i have roughly once the fuel warning light has come on. The car is a 2004 Fiesta Zetec 1.4
Any ideas lads ???

my wifes micra has a gallon from the light comes on, some cars seem to run for ages on the light

put a gallon of petrol in the boot, run it till it runs out. check the miles.

my fiesta goes off the guage by about 4mm and i still have petrol but dont risk that much. carry a can to find out.

st220 light comes wen trip says 50 miles, go 4 another 30 miles then it will say 0. then got another 30. and have run out lol.

as above most cars so 50 i think my range rover says 60 on the trip but within 10 its telling me to re-fuel.

Did 30 miles before on my frs petrol light. I was shitting it until i got to the petrol station

On my old mk6 I got around 30 miles once the light came on, that was normal A to B driving.
