Default escos fuel pump

correct me if im wrong but if you disconnect the fuel line at inlet manifold and turn on the ign the fuel should flow continiously as the pump trys to prime to set back pressure

correct ?????

Remove the return line and put in to a can then you can measure return flow with engine running, But carefull running car with a open can.

I would look at a fuel pressure problem, Either the pump or reg.

Check the power supply by the boot to be sure, Not seen many problems with bosch pump but as with anything there are fakes around.

There is no pressure cut off as the car does not have a pressure sensor.

Nope won't affect it at all, if the light is on whilst running then you have a problem with the charging system see what power you are getting at the battery first though.
