yeh Going to get Raj to sort it, its for a Corsa and I started to mount the Race Technology dash and things like that last night and couldn't make my mind up what parts of the dash I would want flocking !

I don't mind it, in all honesty a Corsa dash reflects the sun badly which is a PITA, the flocking stops that which is good enough for me !

You can use that sticky back grip stuff they use on skateboards etc..

Thats what I plan to use on mine anyway !

Hey up Jonny,

here are a few custom track racers we have done which may be more suitable for you application.













These dashboards were all created by ourlseves from standard dashboards using both epoxy and polyester adhesives where required.

Hope this helps give you some inspiration, the last few pics are my fav, especially the boost controller housing, this was for a 500bhp civic.

Too many ideas !

I do need to find a home for 2 52mm gauges ( boost and AFR ), the owner wants to retain the heaters etc so I can't slap a CF panel in there, possibly considering finding a mount that can go in the middle of the top of the dashboard where some Corsas usually have a clock and the lcd panel for the radio as they could live there.

The Race Technology dash needs mounting somehow, I need to get the dash from my unit and see what fits where as its been 6 months since I took it to bits and I can't exactly remember how it all went back together off the top of my head.

Great pics though, will be in touch as soon as I've worked this out and cut the dash to fit round the cage.

What does it cost to flock a dash? Gonna want my Ka one done, along with the a piller trims i think

Funny enough Jonny we are doing a dash for a a customer who has a fast road impreza, we are housing a 1 off custom tripple mount above the heater vents on the top of the dash angled towards thr driver. It has a small comissioning plate underneath to service/install the gauges but it does not foul on the existing vent ducts so they retain fully functional. I shall take a few pics in a bit if you want mate?

I picked the dash up earlier and it would definitely require some sort of pod making as the lcd panel I mentioned joins to the centre console.

I'll get you a pic of the dash and what I ideally want doing, some pics of the scoob dash would help as well !
