Check the website as that gives you a discount for new members. Phone up and say you haven't used it that much (If thats true ) and you want the discounted price from online. They don't know what the online price is, so knock £10 off if you feel brave and they will honour it

Just letting it go through DD costs you an extra £30-£40 per year depending on your account.

I phone up every year and paid ££90 for me and the Mrs, home relay, etc

I got my renewal, then rang them up telling them I was leaving because I have found a cheaper quote (which I had), didnt tell them how much though. They instantly halfed my quote without any hassle. Bloody chancers they are!

Phone them up mate and say online is quoting you a different price, so you may as well. cancel your policy and start a new one. They will refund you the difference if you haven't used it too much

I pay £96 a year for joint cover with roadside/relay/homestart, every year they try to sneak in a increased DD, I just ring and tell them what others are offering and they match it.
AA does have 2 more allowable call outs per year from this year though, only used it once in 7 years, gf on hols had flat battery.

Do an online quote and give them a ring mate. If they say you should of called before the renewal agree with them, but thats why your calling now as you feel your being let down by their company.

I pay the AA and have used it once a year, but its worth having the peace of mind incase something does happen But may as well get it as cheap as possible
