It FULLY multitasks so you can swop applications with a button press and go and do something else and it just leaves it there ready to go back to. All open apps can be accessed by a double press of the main button, allowing you to scroll back to them. I sometimes leave emails open for days until I get a suitable piece of info then paste it in and send.
Although you may think I was being 'silly' with the apps thing, a point I am trying to make regarding this is that yes, it is a very handy function to have. But it's a function that has been on Nokias for years. Just cannot understand that when apple release it on one of their devices, it is the next big thing.

For someone who generally comes across as 'generally sound' you turn into a bell end whenever there's an iPhone thread and sound like a spoilt child who isn't getting his own way.
No one with an iPhone cares how good you think your phone is, get over it.

Am liking the screenshot thing!
I use tv catchup as a webapp for tv, it's excellent!
Rich 170, why are you obsessed with slagging the iPhone if you love your nokia? I love my iPhone and don't feel it necessary to spam htc/blackberry threads etc? Secretly envious of the touch interface I imagine

I can see why people like the iPhone as it does most things pretty well. Mine pisses me off a lot more than my Nokias ever have though.

Try pressing the home button 3 times then
I had all my fooking apps open, 59 of them haha.
My current faves are,
Nike GPS
Nav free
Starmap pro
Red laser
Itranslate
Skype is awesome
and tune in radio, listen to any radio station anywhere in the world.
Hmm as for tips. you can double click the home screen, scroll to the left and lock the screen from rotating when you turn your phone on its side.

I've never known a phone/device evoke so much hatred from people. I've have grief from friends and colleagues over having an iPhone, it's crazy really. I still get people saying " send us an mms, oh sorry you can't" "just copy n paste it" etc
I wish there was something better out there, I'd buy it! Trouble is everything else I've tried is frustrating to use and nowhere near as intuitive as the iPhone. The only device I'd imagine could be better would be a brand new up to date version of the Sony p900 style phone. It's a shame they lost there way as they pretty much kicked this style of phone off with the p800.
The other really laughable thing is people saying it's just a fashion accessory. The absolute worst fashion accessory is the blackberry. They've been taken aboard by various celebs and people lap them up despite how appalling they are. We had a bloke at my old work that always went blackberry and he was so hatred filled for the iPhone, it was funny to watch him steaming with anger while me and another guy were having fun playing N.O.V.A 2 up over Bluetooth.

double click the home button. Then all the apps you have open will be shown,so to close them you just hold finger on app till a no entry sign appears then press it,it will not delete app just close it.but after all the phone is designed to have them open as this is the multi tasking feature.hope this makes sense as some on here think i can't spell or write a sentence correctly..
