Evening all. Can anbody recommend a good, honest ford dealership in essex that could service and deal with the warranty work (if any) on my 2010 focus rs? Has anbody ever used rates ford in grays?

Whats that reply all about u jumped up gob shite!! How am I gloating?? I want some genuine advice from genuine people who have had new fords before and have to go to fords for servicing to keep the warranty. I dnt want to take it to a shite dealership and propably end up having someone like u work on it!!! I am a qualified maintenance engineer, 4 year ford motor company apprenticeship served so i am more than capable of changing a oil filter and some oil, and i do so on my other cars but i need the stamp. In ur world that seems to make me a cunt. Dunno why ive just wasted a small part of my life writing this reply to u, u dick head.

sorry but lmao ladies please.tbh rob it did seem that you wanted to tell the world u had a focus rs which i might add im very jealous but on the other hand there are plenty of dealers who will pull pants down of customers at every opportunity lol.
i myself work at essex auto group in billericay as a ford/volvo diag technician and do have a fair few dealings with rs,st issues on the various model range.

If you are a 4 year Ford Motor Company Apprentice you should know you don't actually have to have it serviced by Ford to maintain the warranty, merely to use approved parts I believe.

Im sorry if i took what u said the wrong way, but u said pretty blatent 'YOU CUNT'. How was i meant to take that? Anyway ill put my toys back in my pram and u can put urs back in My job involves nothing to to with the dealership side of fords, most of those are not ford motor company anyway, they are franchises. I work in a diesel engine plant where we make, 1.8, 1.4, 1.6, 2.0, 2.2, 2.4 and the v6 and v8 turbo diesel engines. I really want to buy the parts from fords with employee discount and give the car to someone like grove garage to service for me but i dnt want to give fords any way out of any warranty claims, as there is alot of stuff to go wrong on new motors. Any one have there new ford not serviced by fords?

Same job I used to do!!!I take your in the dagenham plant then?it's a bit of a longshot,but have you ever worked with a scottish guy known as "jock" (surprisingly!!!).he works for lamb and ex-cell-o who make a lot of drilling machines which I imagine you use a lot of up there.

I was a mech/elec in Swansea plant making all sorts,brake discs,rear axles,pto's etc.

I left nearly 18months ago now after 15 years,4 on the apprenticeship like yourself.

I miss the money and the job like mad tbh,I got a great redundancy package but that doesn't last long!!!

Any jobs going up there!!bit of a long commute I suppose!!!!

Small world lol. Im a mech/elech and am indeed based in the dagenham engine plant. We also have alot of lamb machines here. I have worked with a few scottish people but the only bloke i can think of called jock is from the discovery programm the garage lol. We buy in blocks, heads, cranks, cams and conrods in the form of rough castings and then everything is machined and heat treated in house. Very interesting seeing hundreds and hundreds ford turbo diesel engines going out of the door every day!! It amazes me as to where they all go lol. Would be abit of a long comute but if any maintenance positions come up il post up on here Where do you work now?

Dolescum right now unfortunately!!!I took over a garage specialising in body repairs out of my redundancy thinking it would be a good move but it's been possibly the worst descision of my life,15 months of misery,but I've cut my losses and got out before I got in too deep,but I suppose i gave it a go!

We used to make cranks,cams and conrods for the zetec engine up til about 2003/4 iirc,to supply Bridgend engine plant but sadly the demise happened in 2000 when we got taken over by visteon,what a bunch of cunts,they closed a plant by you,well Enfield,north london and they all had a sit in protest.

If you ask about,someones probably worked with jock,he talks a lot of shit about his own life but as an engineer he's pretty awesome to be honest,dragged us out of the shit a few times!!!

You should be set for life up there making diesels,I've heard Americas finally catching on so that might be where they go to?

I'm hoping to get a job nearby but I'd love to get back into ford in some way as a spark,I loved it.

Their closing the plant I worked in the next few weeks anyway so it wasn't such a bad descision after all!!!!
