Default Just been on the Zeroshift website....

...and noticed that there seems to have been no updates since the middle of last year.

Does this mean the project has stalled / folded? I know Nick (FRS) was showing an interest - did you find anything out?

The MT75 gearkit is the 2nd most popular (behind Imprezas) in the voting stakes to be the next gearbox to be developed, so if you have a 4x4 Cossie, get on the site and vote to make it the first .

i thought about this the other day mike and meant to have a look at what was going on. i hoped then that it hadn't been another british invention that died a death, but it does look like it.

I imagine manufacturers will switch to the new dual clutch method and unfortunately this idea will not receive the backing and demand to make it a goer

Had a look the other day and thought the same, developing new products takes time though, they may just be waiting for something round the corner... Let's hope it's not gone to waste

surprising, considering the way you drive. did you put your sandwich, and your coke can down and stop writing your text message and try as hard as you could?

Speaking from bitter experience, The problem with any new company/new
inovative design or new product is lack of investment.

If the ZEROSHIFT team had limitless resources, I am sure this gearbox would be
available for most applications by now.

It is a shame in this country, we are good at having ideas and then they get stolen
and taken abroad due to lack of asistance in this country.

One thing they do say on the web site is that it's no stronger than the original, so prob not suitable for big power applications.

As said, it's purely a superfast gearchange mechanism - but could be applied to Quaife/fixit etc.. I'd imagine, but depends how close they are to the OE Ford stuff. For anyone who doesn't think a fast change is worthwhile on its own, ask Martin what times he used to do with 330BHP & a quick changing box
