I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
no springs will be no use with out a dual mass flywheel,
it'll shake itself to bits, avoid a dual mass(dont think you get 1 for those anyhow)
seen a good few clutches do this, but if it keeps doing it theres defo got to be sumfin wrong,
not to sure what tbh, if its on the same box i'd suggest a prob in that but not sure at all

i think theres a difference between competent drivers and desperate drivers who own a fast car and have something to prove.
if i ever damage a clutch as per pictures above i'd seriously reconsider my driving style. its not like you've a ***hp 4wd monster at your fingertips. its a FWD rst!
think about it.

That maybe so m8 but if you kick the shit out of the clutch every time you drive it you can see what happens.
You don't have to drive it like a granny if Ł300 every few months does not matter and the fitting new clutches is a hobbie

Have to say though mate knowing how I drive and the level of tune my S2 is at I think you may need to look at your driving. Even the best parts will fail if you have no mechanical sympathy. I taught myself heel and toe and to blip the throttle on Down shifts to match road speed to engine speed for mechanical sympathy rather than just dropping a gear and banging the clutch out. I even use the techniques when driving the pool cars from work.

Ł300 isn't alot of money to spend on a clutch and certainly isn't enough to buy something thats invincible. If you want to drive it like you stole it, then get a 7 1/4" racing clutch. Otherwise, learn about mechanical sympathy. If you've broken a few like this, it can really only be down to your style of driving.

There is no single-plated RST clutch that can handle 450bhp and 400lbft.
275-300lb/ft tops really and the closer you get to that, the more likely you are to kill it with fierce driving habits. Mine used to last fine, but only because I never really used to hard launch it.

10K+ Poster!!
That used to happen to all the clutches in my old Clio Williams, but that's because they were standard items and I drove it like a numpty everywhere, it launched very nicely for a fwd car too!
