Bit of a shock as I didn't think it was due fro release for another week.

First impresions are very good.

Anybody know the best free software to convert a DVD to MP4 for playback on it? I have handbrake but it doesn't seem to like anything I've put in it yet

Looks an awesome phone, not long had my Desire and that is brilliant as it is. Lucky git. Will no doubt be thinking about trading up at some point.

I've come from a Nokia E71 that in all honesty I didn't want but needed a phone. It's different from the Nokias but the screen is superb and I tranfered an MP4 a mate did of Fast & Furious and was blown away. Angry birds is annoyingly addictive on it

Have a look for Talking Tom. Utterly stupid, but keeps me amused when our network goes down.

Yes, Angry birds is great for killing time when out and about and waiting etc. Great for free on Market place..

Still playing with it so working my way round it. Only thing I have noted is that the automatic voice dialing I had with my Nokia on the car kit doesn't work. Hopefully it's just a case of setting it up

Is it running Android or WP7 ?

Ordered a Omnia 7 on Monday and am still waiting for it to be shipped :-(

oh, You might need rip the DVD first with DVDshrink, then convert the vob file to mp4

Is it running Android 2.1 or 2.2? Bluetooth voice control is supposed to be a new feature of 2.2. If it's not there i'm gonna be pissed off as that's the only reason I kept this Galaxy S. Fundamental feature!
