Probably because its not in his best intrests financialy to promote a diy solution that most people can tune themselves, that only costs a couple hundred pounds. A tuner would much rather sell "X" ecu that costs "X" amount, because of the profit margins involved. Obiously it comes down to money because these guys have to make a living, its not the functionality of the ecu, because it does everything most other ecus do, and its not the back up or reliabilty as all the software and help for these ecus is available online for free. Also its not the actual ability to map the ecu as MS is very simple to map and tune. Something else putting tuners off MS may be the fact it has been built or installed badly, and spending time on fixing these problems is not worthwhile, it would be far easier to fit A pre built ecu supplied with warranty from the manufacturer. So to sum up, MS is ideal for the diy enthuisiast, who has the time and knowledge for it, but not soo ideal for a tuner who wants a hassle free plug and play option. Hope this helps.

i have a mtech v4 and i find its as good as a omex 600
only gripe is the 12x12 ignition table when the fuel is 16x16 and the built on map sensor because you need a long pipe
