Default cossie tps issues

my car has a well sticky throttle body but when driving it also seems that i can only drive with my foot to the floor or off

if i want anywere inbetween it really doesnt like it sort of splutters

ive replaced every engine sensor except the tps now could this be the problem ?

We had this problem with the 2wd, cough and spluttered on part throttle, Mark @ MAD tested the TPS and found that at 18% throttle, the readings were all over the shot, sounds like you have a similar problem.

put a voltmeter across the tps output and check that it tracks smoothly from end to end (either ~0V to ~5V or the other way around). if not, pot track is probably corrupted or dirty, new tps required

I have a new tps (used) bought off Mattie from this site so will try that

Steve i dont get what your asking i don't nor have i ever owned a SECS anything

yet

I thought you had a SECS monitor sitting around somewhere - might have been Lewis I spose

That will test the TPS.
