if it screws directly onto the block then you need a 2wd filter,
if its got the alloy extension piece on it to clear the engine mount etc then you need a 4x4 filter

They are different the 4x4 one is deeper something like 93MM IIRC and 2WD is shallower at around 70 something MM from memory, however I can't help you with the part number.

They're the same thread on 2wd and 4wd so can be swapped around, I also think your filter is a 4wd one, as I'm fairly sure the 2wd is 4546.
www.mann-hummel.com
is a good site, put in your filter dimensions and it does the rest, there is a search box on there to input the dimensions to get what you want, somewhere have trouble finding it each time I go on, but it's defo there.

PH5713 is NOT a 2 or 4wd cossie oil filter its an old push rod Fiesta/Ka 1.... PH2857a is 4wd and I can't remember the 2wd Fram pt number defo not a 4546 tho (I sell Fram filters every day at work)

Tbh as long as it screws up don't worry to much.... The S1 RST uses the same filter as the 4wd Cossie out of the factory but most people fit the S2 filter (PH2964) you also see alot of S1/2's running Zetec filters (PH5803) as they are larger. I've seen 4wd Cossies also running zetec filters when they have aftermarket oil pressure gusges fitted as they give more clearance as the std filter will no longer fit.

There is a load of filters which will fit, renault 5 turbo for example, just need to be aware that the frogs went over to a metric fitting which was 0.70mm larger later on with the R5, but the early filter fits.
Ford oil filter fitting have been pretty much the same at most ages from model to model.
I don't use the recommended and would NEVER use a ford oil filter, seen too many new ones with rust, even on the inside after cutting open, filters that had been in ziplock freezer bags in my garage so as not to ingest dirt/grit etc as stored right near bench grinder.
