Hi guys

Any ideas......... just uploaded itunes for my girlfriend and each time she tries to sign in she gets the message:

'Itunes could not connect to the itunes store. The network connection has timed out. Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active then try again'

I'm no good with computers so any ideas/help would be much appreciated.

Stupid questions first

1. Are you actually connected to the internet?
2. Have you confirmed the user account info you are using is correct? Login on another computer for example.

 

1. erm.. yes as am on it now or am i missing something??

2. no not confirmed, on my user account my itunes works fine. On her account, i get that message.

 

OK, so try her account information on another machine if you can. If yours works on the affected machine and her's doesn't, then it would have to be her account info causing the problem. Should be a link for "Forgot your password" or something like that on the iTunes site.

 

If i go onto my user account, go onto itunes and sign her in, i can get into her account but not into her music.
Her phone got totally wiped when she plugged her iphone into her laptop so we used mine to upload her phone with everything. We was able to reinstall her apps and contacts but cant get to her music.
