Default decent car finance for average/poor credit??

any advice? anyone know of a good company? im looking for a new vehicle, very open minded at the moment but as I surf alot etc a van/pick up would be ideal or a car maybe. Anyway my credit rating isn't great but not horrific? trying to find a good finance company but not much joy. I have a stable job in the Armed Forces.
Thanks for any help.
Maybe it's the current financial climate?

I would check dealers rather than these car sharks like YES and the likes ,as most dealers are offering low or even 0 % on cars to clear older stock

First Response are pretty good for questionable credit ratings and because of the area we're in [near Aldershit] we've put a lot of forces through them - some other finance companies believe it or not, won't lend to ranks below NCO!

Best thing though is to go into a dealer as said above. I very much doubt you'll get 0% anywhere if you have something on your creit score.

I always tell people to start with their bank as they're quite often the best rates through personal loans, if possible.
