Another vote for Matt at the Racing Line, after the work he has done on my old Evo and my mates Pulsar I would definitely recommend him.

believe me mate i wouldnt be going to TRL after i seen the state of MartinW car off the MLR then had to take it to Evo Tune to get done properly and it wasnt a couple of hundred quid job he spent thousands on his look in trader discussion on MLR mate EVO TUNE FTW had all my work done on my last evo and i wouldnt trust it with anyone else

All me and my mate had done at TRL was mapping, and plenty of it, but no complaints at all in that department!

There is a horror story about them on the MLR, all the work on my last Evo was done by Mark at Madevelopments,

I know Gary at APT is closer and he has some great results with Evo's

thanks for you help guys, we rang evo tune today, didnt sound to clever, not to proffesional if im honest. website lists there contact no as a mobile and it wasnt answered lke you would expect a buisness phone to be. i had to ask him if it was evo tune and didnt sound to sure ? lol ended up passing the phone to some one else! i asked him about tunning he just said exhaust filter and remap. which is obvious.when i asked about the quality of the map and does it have any kind of garuntee etc he said no garuntees it's just a remap.
i felt like wtf! its a 30k car new. you dont want any old shit programed on it.
it didnt espire confidence.

im surprised the likes of msd or superchips dont do them yet, come on stuart if your reading this get you finger out!

mate go on MLR and ask this question I dont think you will get anyone to give you a gaurantee with a remap

just wanted to know what quality it is really i know you wont get a garuntee as such, but you wouldnt let just anyone install a map on your 30k car. who wrote it?is it safe? we dont want it blowing up i just wanted some reasurance.

Jamie writes all maps himself and are perfectly safe and all AFR are checked through out he must mapp about 6-10 cars a week and not one has blown up yet and he holds the record for most power out of stock ECU which I think was 686 BHP and that car is still running sweet as a nut and going for more power soon, just ask on MLR mate you will get the answer you are looking for on there

Old post o now. But gona say my e6 was mapped by jamie @evotune and as said he writes his own maps , my e6 is rapid thanks to Jamie and made 366bhp and the same torque figure.. he also mapped in pops and bangs all on standard Internals.. I rate Jamie but also think Matt@ trl is a fantastic tunner, have been to 2 rolling road days he's a top guy... as for 400bhp out of the x is no pros at all . Go on mlr
