i would fit an rst bonnet (im selling 1),mondeo 16" wheels.lower it so it sits right.as for arches, when you fit the s2 kit to a 4 door the rear doors dont open as the arches cover them, and it will fail the mot.unsure whats different with the '4 door' kit but i imagine the arch is in 3 pieces, which will make fitting a pain to get it all lined up.dont buy chrome stick on shite from halfords, dont use harnesses with standard seats as its dangerous,if you fit the s2 interior then the doorcards wont match and im unsure if the rear seat will fit on the hinges.never done this before but know the estate is different.
lastly, ill mention it again, dont buy chrome stick on crap from halfords,or anything from lockwood to accessorise the interior.
good luck,btw pics?
Yeah if i do anything to it i'll do it right and do it classy , no stick on stuff or cheap rubbish mate , also i'd only put harnesses if i had racing seats , btw , whats ur views on a spoiler? i'd never put some huge bolt on thing or a whaletail on , i was thinkin more of a small ish smart one

do you work out often?
lose the wheels and moon buggy tyres.they are off a mk2 escort and look crap on newer escorts.
yeah, bucket seats and harnesses go together.it prob doesnt need lowered any more than what it is so will look mint with the 16" wheels.theres not that much difference between rs bumpers and what you have, but they are cheap as chips so why not.spoiler,if you want an escort 1 then a 90 spec or 88 spec will go straight on,maybe even a mk6 spoiler, but if you fit something curvy it wont look right against the squareness of the escort.

As far as the exterior goes, LEAVE IT ALONE lol! A nice set of wheels (maybe some old school 5 spoke Comp Mo's?) and a maybe a tad lower and it will look sweet! I do not want to be the bearer of bad news mate but I'm 99% sure the rear arches have been fillered Does look tidy though!

(anyone got an idea on how much a paintjob would be , i'm not that fussed the white looks fine , but could be better)

right first off, lose the crappy capri laser rims with the hummer tyres on,your car is a decade too new for them!...whilst we are talking about mods a decade apart, lose that steering wheel! mountney's looked great on mk2's,capris, mini's etc.....for your era a proper rs 3 or 4 spoke,or momo's etc
next, lose that bumper and get a 90 spec one, first off it will look better and secondly you wont need to have those awful colour coded spotlights that are drilled into the bumper....get some original rs turbo spotlights with the orig brackets!
nest,as your car has 4 doors and looks longer, you need to make it seem more compact...soo lose those door mouldings, get some rs turbo or xr3i door mirrors......now door handles,it all depends on budget.....you can either colour code them all or"french" the rears in.
also loose the sunroof "fender" your not towing a caravan son..lol

oh and an rs bonnet is a must,i i think you should try and get a genuine rs kit...i remember fitting an rs kit to my mates estate many a moon ago,the arches fitted fine, but due to the length i had to use 2 side sills, cut them and plastic weld them together to get them to fit...i'm not too sure if a 4 door is longer than a 2 door, but i wouldnt be suprised if it is.

errr thats me for the moment....i've had a few mates that had nice 4 doors many a moon ago,so its nice to see a new generation putting thier spin on things

p.s gyms arn't all for posers....if you went you could really balance out your shoulders with underdevolped chest....but your body fat is serioulsy low.....which is the hardest thing to obtain....well for people over 30 anyway lol

a paint job depens on many things like are you doing the prep cause thats whats cost the monst in my experience. and what sort of paint and quality you want it doesnt look like it needs a paintjob though

with paint,if it sounds cheap then its too cheap.with your car there will be a lot of taping up as you have loads of windows and doors, trim etc.when i have something painted i strip everything off that would gneed taped up so i get the best result.
the wheels wont be worth more than Ł100 imo.

yeah i'll leave paint then its not a neccesity , so yeah i'll try and flog the wheels and tyre , also those tyres are quite wide , they like , nearly come out of arch , so yeah , how much would a set of 4 rims and tyres be if i looked around? also what inch would be best?

Cheers
Luke
