anybody know where to get a decent car battery from in essex
cant remember the last time i had to get one but 80-00 for a focus is a liberty

Not in essex but www.carbatteryshop.co.uk is a good site.
Years ago when I got a mondy ghia it had a duff battery, it was a brand new looking one but didn't have receipt etc so couldn't try for a replacement under warranty.
I bough another of exactly the same make got it home took the battery of the car and put on bench beside new one, got called away and forgot which was which put one back on the car and it started up perfectly, I was sure this was my old battery that had mysteriously sprung back into life, well happy, so took the new one back they said it was duff after testing and gave me my money back.
