Hi everyone.
Thought id sign up to your forum as ive just got hold of a MK5 RS2000 in p/x for a BMW I was selling.
Was thinking of the Escort as a bit of a project for over winter but also have an E30 to build so unlikely this would ever happen.
Been away from Fords for the last 7 or 8 years now but was a (skint) fanatic then and owned a few gems along the way such as a lovely Sunburst RS1600i replica which I put together using loads of genuine parts and a 1.9 CVH on twin webers.
That then got sold to make way for a genuine RS1600i Custom in Black which I had for about 18 months, sold that and made the move to E30`s.
Any about the RS2000.
As said was thinking of maybe a fun little project but as im embarking on another 24v conversion in my E30 I know it just isnt going to happen, then the MOT will run out blah blah so im just going to sell it on I think.
Wheels look like OZ supertourismo to me but previous owner reckons Focus ST?No obvious marking to suggest either untill I get a wheel off.
He also said it has big brakes up front and to be fair I dont know what size the standard ones are to compare.
Body is pretty good and straight apart from the drivers rear arch and what appears to be early front end??
Interior is nice wityh no major wear etc.Momocorse wheel and fancy gearknob etc.
Anyone care to put a resale value on it for me?
Its a 94 L reg showing 109k,Mot Feb 10,no history and noisy clutch bearing.

Anyway thats my intro.
Heres a couple of pics(Sunburst Rep,Black Custom and mates White non Custom).

and the latest...

Welcome, the wheels are Team Dynamic Monza's from around 98-99 onwards iirc.

As for Brakes get a tape on the disc, if 280mm then more than likley be Granada Disc's iirc.

Nice pic of the RS16's aswell
