It's a small lend so the APR is going to be high.

I would just save up mate and shop around. I got £300 off the High Street price of my Panny set by shopping about on line.

This is the one ive been looking at http://www.comet.co.uk/shopcomet/pro...NIC-TX-P42S21B

I really dont get why there are so many different panasonic 42's all with seemingly similar features.

Am i rite in thinking plasma is better than LCD?

General rule of thumb, 42"+ then you want plasma, below 42" then you want LCD, but people will always have their different views on it. Just have a look at a few then buy whichever YOU prefer the look of.

Do the buy now pay later scheme, where you get the telly and then pay it in a years time or so. Just make sure you do pay it or it will automatically go to finance!

You would be better spending the extra£100 if you can to get the g20, although the s series is still a great tv, plasma is not always better then LCD ! just depends on the model and make

Theres load of panasonic sets out now, all are different in same way either by the actual panel, filter, contrast ratio etc

If you know someone that has access to costco, then you can often get them a little (or sometimes a lot) cheaper there. Plus they provide a 5 year warranty too.

My dads a member at costco and got his panasonic from there for cheap but i would need to pay in full from there so would have to save for it.

If i do end up saving i will get it from there no doubt, the buy now pay 6 months later at comet is apealing though!

Dude
I have a Panasonic
There is a number of what seems the same tv but once you do your homework, you will see that they are all different. I thought the same when we went tv shopping
We narrowed it down by working out what we wanted from it in way of specs and at the end of the day there isnt many left to choose
You will be needing full 1080
Freeview
vera link
Free Sat
Only the Panasonic and LG have free sat which turned out to be a real nice feature as id does away with having to have a sky box as you just wind the Sat cable into the back of the TV.

Regards
Ian

Why dont you get a Credit card that has 0% on purchases for 12months? Then you can buy from anywhere and try to get a good discount.
