yes,

mk3 cortina with no engine in it,

should be able to have it race ready in four or five weeks,

tony does a different championship to forumal saloons,

but there is atleast three other 500 racing in it,

and steve scott is going to do it this year in his escort, so atleast i will get some help at the meets, so worked out perfect.

Yes but he is a proper racing driver and any hints or help he can give you will be WELL worth listening to

As I remember Martin, you need a National A license for that one and that means you ahve got to get 6 signatures on your National B before you can upgrade. Best start thinking of all this as early as possible mate unless you already have both the licenses?

Some dam cool cars in that series

porkie mate,

you only need a national B licence for this forumal,

i know tonys a proper racer lol

but so is steve scott and he is doing this ford championship,

i will run my car on very low boost, for the first few races, and go from there,

lhd drive, but looks like it started life as a rhd and was racing in france, so may have been converted over there,

not bothered about it, and will drive it as is!

most race drivers prefer lhd cars as this is the norm for racing,

the eggenburger lhd and that does not bother me,

after a few laps it all feels the same.

lol

not till i have had some practise!!

first few races i will try at low power and learn from there,

steve scott is going to use his wrc escort and then hopes to use his 4x4 cossie powered fiesta after a few rounds, all 500 plus bhp of it.

now that will be worth watching on its own!!!!!!

the beauty of this car,

is it comes with some very handy spares,

like six grown wheel and pinions for the 9" diff,

not sure of the ratios yet i will have to count them,

and i will end up with 28 wheels,

almost my own touring car team lol

ryan mate,

i just sold andy rouse a wheel for his sierra that he crashed,

just the inner and outer piece,

for ŁŁŁ and if you remmeber i gave you both my spare 18" ones for free

all these ones are 17"

as i said to you before the 18" rims are even harder to find,

as the sierra where only allowed to run 17" max

think alot of people would disagree markk

18's can be set up perfectly, if you use proper suspension, proper top mounts and TCA's a an nicely setup beam.

touring cars running 19's & 20's seem to do ok, i know its a different ball game.

Oh and porkies and marco's seem to handle pretty well

Ryan,
Oh and porkies and marco's seem to handle pretty well

porkies is a bit differant , i.e fookin loadsa cash for a start on it , remote units as well , and i thought marco's were 17 for his track stuff ????

you can over tyre a car , that includes rim size as well !! and i dont believe that they wont catch somewhere on lock/under braking / over bumps ??

i had a set of 17s for mine with 220 / 62 / 17 and they were a bitch , had to make some serious mods to stop em catchin !!!

good luck is all i can say !!!
