So the twat hasn't come up with the goods and the insurance company are saying the car is un-insured and un-registered 
Reported it to the police and what did they do? Fuck all, only took down some basic details but they wont take it forward
I hate all of this, why is it you play by the rules and all you do is get screwed over

It's changed then since 2006 as they wouldn't pay me out until I proved he had pleaded guilty to dangerous driving as when they asked him he disputed it was his fault. That was my experience with the mib.

Basically said there isn't anything they can do, took the vehicle reg and basically said our insurance company should have reported it, but the insurance company won't take it forward because the vehicle isn't registered to anyone. Didn't want to know the fellas details or anything.

That's outrageous. So it really does pay to just not register your vehicle and not bother with insurance. Hope you get some joy with the MIB but from my personal experience of them they were pretty shit.

This is what pisses me off the most, the 90% of the population who are hard working honest people who pay their taxes, pay their insurance, and do everything we should and some fucking dodgy white van man who doesn't pay their insurance, doesn't register their vehicle basically get away with stuff like this EVERY DAY.
And the establishment really couldn't give a shit about it because it means they might have to do some fucking POLICE work
