whats the place like to live in?
best areas etc?

 

Depends where you are working, the traffic in leeds when I worked there last was pretty horrific so whichever side of town you are working i'd live on the outskirts of that side.

Had my car broke into in headingley, so i'd avoid that bit, lol

Leeds was the car crime capital of europe at the time (about 15 years ago) but Im not sure if it still is.


Good place to live in the main I reckon, great nightlife and good selection of shops in the town centre etc.

where abouts in leeds is the job?

if its in the city centre then live in wetherby/harehills, its not far from it, or actually anywhere along the Roundy Road, we ruled business wise in 80s there

 

Seacroft towers would be okay...

 

Just not if your a Millwall supporter!!! Na had a good crack in Leeds with some of there supporters before the playoff semi final last year.

the jobs at the university down clarendon road, is that near those places?

 

Chapeltown is realy nice! i dont know leeds that well but there are some decent looking towns on the outskirts like horseforth, rawdon,ive been to meanwood on a job and that was a nice new estate with big detatched houses somebody said it was rough( i didnt see any rough parts)
Find out were your work is and work it out from there so you dont have a shit drive to work everyday
