Default My new car, My first non ford for 16 years!!

Well, I've had 4 escort turbos, a fiesta turbo, 2wd saph cossie, 4x4 saph cossie and an Escort cossie. ( amongst many other Fords ) After 5 years of a mondeo family car, i decided it was time to treat myself. I wanted an EVO 5 or a 6 as they are my favourite looking.

i eventually found this one with quite a nice spec.

Carbon bonnet,
Paul Glamire map with 355bhp printout,
Large alloy rad,
Single box 3" jap exhaust,
ohlins coilovers,
adjustable front top mounts,
full poly bush kit inc diff mounts,
cusco front and rear strut braces,
underside " H " brace
one piece headlamps,
very clean and tight seats,
sparco steering wheel,
Blitz boost, oil temp, oil pressure and exhaust temp gauges,
Greddy B spec II boost controller,
Hks turbo timer,
New HKS twin plate clutch,
cosworth pads all round and front grp N discs,
Recent full respray in Audi abyss white so it's very bright white:smthumbup
Just got some uprated lash adjusters to go in, wheels are going for powder coating next week and 4 new tyres. I've wired the rear fog lamps into the bootlid lamps so there's no ugly fog lamp.

Still want to give all the shuts and engine bay a good t cut and polish, get a square rear plate, get the front mesh's powder coated again then the outside will be exactly as i want it!:smthumbup
After driving one, i can't believe i didn't get one years ago!!

You can all slaughter me now if you want!!

Looks mint mate well done. Lose the stickers, wind deflectors and mud flaps will improve it massively!

As that man said - plus I'd be tempted to plonk some meetier wheels on if you're keeping it, that would really make it

Paint colour looks ace, not a huge fan of the Scotia / Magnolia colour they normally are. Ohlins too, get you!!

Nice car matey, enjoy

Very nice mate but personally would prefer it with a matching white bonnet. Still a very eye catching car though .

You wont regret buying that beautiful machine.
Best driving experience i ever had was when my brother loaned me his VI for the weekend. Took it hundreds of miles, and had a memorable race with a Carrera 4S, which i won :P

Serious question? I did your rear disc conversion at yours on the old escort turbo!!

Forgot to say, it's got full history, original handbooks and manuals, bill of sale, old sale receipts to the 2 uk owners etc.

As for the wheels, was tempted on a set of 18's but i really like the look of it as it is now! Maybe in the future, would really like RL7's!

Turbo 3dr tommy - it was only the distance that put me off to be perfectly honest, this was only 50 mins away from me!

Ł5900, The bloke would only budge Ł100, but i was willing to pay the 6k if i had to. Well chuffed with it, few bits i want to do but only personal touches really. Re powder coat the front mesh's, maybe ditch the three centre gauges, new tyres, powder coat the wheels, carbon spoiler blade, wrinkle black the rocker cover and inlet, fit my uprated lash adjusters, re locate a bigger battery to the boot and make an enclosed big airbox with feed from the bumper scoop. Only had the car 5 min but want it al done NOW!! lol
