internals can now be purchased for RS2000 2L Turbo for about £700ish+
then you'll need all the abvious other shite, not cheap but you can easily do a low blow for about a grand.

Why not? If its good enough for that person. Don't see why you would change all the internals when you are happy with just a little more. Sure we all know you get used to the Hp and soon you want more. But for a year or so. Why not.

i. Read it wrong i thought he was on a 1.6turbo with nos. So yeah a low boost would increase it a lot. My mistake.

That's how I read it too. To be honest I wouldn't bother with the RS2k, good engine but it's a bit of a weighty fucker. 2 litre Zetec will be cheaper to source, far easier to install and capable of so so much as it's a tried and tested engine these days

No you have it right. But NOS isnt always on. Turbo is well from 3500rpm or so. But turboing an RS2k engine is not the easy way. As it is a heavy piece of iron. Better of with an 2.0 zetec engine.

But he HASNT got a turbo on his cvh, i also said nothing of how easy it is turboing the 2000 lump i just said for the fucking about it's not worth it. I cant see why he just doesnt drop a cvh turbo in?

everyone says this, however i prefere the way the rs2k lump looks, sounds and feels over the zetec.
some really good progress has been made with the old lump of iron recently.
im pretty certain the ford mags will have a few healthy features shortly

Don't get me wrong mate it's a good motor for what it is but it is heavy as fuck and a bit of a fucker to fit in place. Zetec bolts in easily and with a turbo on it delivers the goods, 200, 300, 400bhp or more, your only limit is your wallet and I certainly think turboing a Zetec will give far netter results for the pounds spent

why not st170 duratec, dont need to change internals, set up on bike carbs. my mk2 escort has the conversion with zx6r carbs and it 216bhp and it looks the D's B's.

Never said he had one on his cvh. I also said nothing about you saying it hard or what ever. Just said you could run a low press turbo engine if you just want to have a bit more. For that you don't need to change pistons etc. There are a lot of zetec or what ever that run it this way. Plus if he takes the hassle to make a NOS powered cvh why not try something like low press turbo on a RS2k engine.
