Default is it worth going aftermarket over P8 Pectel

My fiesta cosworth is running with P8 (pectel board) 400bhp would it be benificial to run a aftermarket ecu like DTA?

Wouldn't make a difference imo so long as it's mapped correctly, could go K6 with launch traction etc, might as well do a power run just to check all is ok fuelling wise with what you've got as it's having problems already.

the only reason i would change is because the P8 8inj i have can not ignition advance enough to give the extra power ! like another ecu

unless you want to map it yourself, or you want a specific tuner to do the mapping (and he cant map p8) then its not worth making the jump IMO
