Default Clifford problems

I`m currently having a few problems with my clifford alarm. My first problem is when you arm / disarm, i only get the drivers side indicators flash, but indicators work fine from the stalk?. The second problem i`m having, trying to change the options within the alarm. It accepts the code when i enter it, but when i try to change the options, nothing happens? I have the manual which shows how to do it but no luck.

Could the two be linked?

Any help at all muchly appreciated

I'm not 100% sure on the cliffys, but there may well be a fuse on each indicator line from the alarm unit, but these wires are what you need to check anyway to start with.

I`ve found 2 white wires from the clifford loom that join onto the indicator wires from the back of the stalk, but only one white wire has power??? Will check further up the loom for fuses in the morning

If a output on one indicator output from the alarm has gone duff inside the module there is a easy cheap way to get both flashing again using a few rectifier diodes, did this on me old COP IN A BOX alarm.

Not sure, I had the alarm fitted brand new about 4-5 years ago. I have the user guide for the alarm but no certificate? Will have to look that up...

Cliffys normally do, where they and toad sting you is they don't pay "incidental costs" ie the cost of removing and fitting if needed due to a faulty unit, necessary to keep the cat 1 cert ok.
