can anyone give me a bit of an insight into this?

ive virtually got a new job within the company i work for...

the job as id applied for was location TBC, extensive travelling required.

turns out this job would require me to pretty much relocate (100 miles away)....
i was told the company pay "relocation expenses so im not out of pocket"

now im single and would stay out working anyway but have a mortage and sorta life here so selling up is fair major!

the increase in salary isnt huge i.e. maybe 20% plus a car
(but it has reasonable prospects)
so im now in a dilema.... its cheap as chips in stoke... house prices etc etc
but theres pants all prospects.

cut the waffling...

anyone relocated before?? hows it work? how long did it take you? to a sort otu sell up get house in new place?? move on get new friends life etc?

and 2ndly what happens with company cars? (may do another post)
how much do they actually cost you in terms of tax etc is there anyway to sort out mileage and things??


sorry bit all over the place but this is major to me and im not thinking quite straight.
oh and if i dont go for it... it kinda looks bad on me with regards to career progression and whether ill have a job left here??
