Well after searching and considering my options for the past 9 months, I eventually settled for a Evo 6, picked it up today and very happy with it. 60k miles
My first Jap car so all new to me.

I recently bought a modded 8 and it's very quick

 

Lamp it making 400bhp with printout to prove.
mods are exhaust
evo 9 turbo
straight thought exhaust
hks induction kit
forged block
walbro fuel pump
Greddy profec
tein coilovers
Group n discs

and much more
This car is very quick to be fair, handles superb.

What cams in there? I've been told i need MR cams to jump to 400 bhp.

Either way i know how well that'll go as mine is just shy of that

 

Im not to sure, as im still trying to translate some of the receipts and manuals, but im sure I will find out the brand once Ive got through the receipts. quite alot to go through.

One common evo trait i can't stand is the squeaky brakes

All my mates have had the same problems! Help!

 

Tell me about it the squeaking doing my head in, but I will look into it. Otherwise im happy with it.

no hols mate, i have moved down here.cant stand another winter in uk,
Loving it here, although the evo does seem own on power, i tink its beacause the air temp is higher.

nice motor mate,my mates got one its a tommy makinen edition running about 500hp,its an animal,gives me that rollercoaster feeling in my stomach
