Working 4x4 alternator off ebay for 99p plus postage (think it was a bout a fiver all in)
Brand new unused rear arm for a saph off ebay delivered for £40, still in the boot of the car unused and like new.
Also paid a guy £100 for a 4x4 bonnet and complete leather recaro interior with door cards and centre console.
Missed out on a really cheap 70K miles S1 Turbo not long ago, i was properly gutted about that.

Mine had got to be either one of these three:
1) ST24 Estate with a blown lump for £150. Stripped and sold the parts for over £700
2) ST200 engine, on ebay with a buy it now price of £250 , brought it then got offered the entire running gear complete with brakes, suspension, subframe, gearbox rad etc for another £50. Sold most of it on for around £1100.
3) X Reg ST200 with 64000 on the clocks cat D for £850. Needed bonnet, bumper and headlight. The missus is still running about in it after three years, flies through every MOT!!!!!!!!!

I broke it as it was rolled, still made £12500 though and at the time 500s wasnt worth what they are now
I could wright a book on what Ive had over the 20 years Ive been in buisness, how times have changed
I wish I still had the MK1 and 2 Escorts I broke and scrapped

Going back quite a while ago i bought a mk2 uno turbo for £300 (engine fecked, but mint body) in the morning, drove it back and swapped it for £700 worth of reconditioned gas flowed p&p head, spesso gasket and bolts plus a brand spanking new fast road colombo and bariani cam at lunch time.
Admittedly i had to remove all 4 plugs at least 4 times on the way home as they were getting covered on oil and giving up!

just remembered - i had a great result with some 3dr cossie parts a few years ago - went into my local ford dealer on xmas eve and bought ALL there stock for a particular part and they gave them to me at 1986 prices
Promptly jumped on the bay and made some good money out of them
