Am getting charged 20 quid to have a steering rack sent to me from an ebay seller after the initial postage costs in the ad said £12 by 48hr Parcel Force.

He is now saying it costs more to post to where im at in the country !

I was under the impression that Royal Mail/Parcel Force charged one price to deliver it anywhere in the UK !

I stay in an IV postcode which is Inverness-shire, i know couriers sometimes charge more for delivering out here but thought RM/PF would be the same no matter where its going !

only time I have heard they charge more is if you live in the highlands or islands ,and the seller really should be responsable for the postage additional cost as it was his cock up

not parcel force but my courier certainly charges more for parts of inverness. I think parcel force will too tbh, RM wont but they also more than likely wont take a rack due to size / weight. hth
