what if any are the differences in power from a escort t3 or a sierra t3???

Most likely different trims inside, would ask a turbo builder like turbocentre 01924 404112.

I have always known they are the same compressor wise although I think the exhaust housings may be different as said I to think the Cosworth was a .48

Escos were T34 BT or T25 ST for info.

there not the same compressor wise, iirc, escort turbo is a 50 trim, with the .36 turbine housing & elbow, 2wd cos is a 55 trim compressor with a different style (better flowing) .48 turbine housing, 4wd cos is the same as 2wd turbine with a 60 trim compressor wheel.

also, trim size is relavent to turbo, ie, a 60 trim T3 compressor wheel is bigger than a 60 trim T2 compressor wheel.

so what power is a rs turbo good for and what is a cossie good for?
