Career change!!!
Got two job offers today.One for a postman and the other for a warehouse operative at a distillery.But none of them confirmed what my actual wage would be.Can anyone tell me how much these pay?And which of the two would be the best to accept as i've been offered both positions! Walking round in circles here scratching my head!!aaaaarghhh

Why not just tell them that? "You have other offers so talk money." Makes them see you are a straight talker and not afraid to cut to the chase.

just got the emails when i got home tonight so can't call till tomorrow. the warehouse job is with diageo but is through an agency.Its temporary for a few months but the agency say its a sure foot in the door and most of there temps get kept on full time.Its £6.92 an hour but only because the agency take there cut on top.So i dont know how much i would get when taken on full time.The postman job is classed as temp 6 months but have been told it would be full time depending how i get on. A new start is about £250 a week for first 6 months then goes up after a year to between £280-£311.

To be honest mate they both sound shit. Since the distillery job is with an agency then go for the postie. Some not bad twisty roads up your way too, poor Connect going to get thrashed

yeah!hehe.lil red blurrrr.The agency only lasts till your taken on full time.Then you are employed fully by the distillery which is owned by diago which are big international drinks company who own most of the distilleries up here like j+b,black and white,bells,haig and johnnie walker.They also own guiness plus the holding company for smirnoff,guiness and schnapps.Surely would get a good xmas bash from them
