I would like to seek a few members advice on a problem i have. Basically i have bought an item from a "gold member" and quite an active member on here, i am sure some people on here are quite friendly with him. Anyway without going into all the details as yet and naming and shaming, he said he didnt want to deal with me anymore and would refund my paypal payment i sent to him. This was last thursday and since then he has ignored my texts, i pm'd him on here last night ans he has been online since etc etc I am sure you get the picture. Now the amount is £125, an amount i cant afford to let go especially as i have had to go and buy another of these parts for my car.

I hope the member sees this and acts on it before i name him, i feel i have given him a good chance to at least reply to me and whatever excuse he may have i still feel he could reply to me, bearing in mind he still has the time to post on the forum

 

Sadly mate,it`s happenned a few times on here lately.You`d be better off naming and shaming if you`ve had no joy as there maybe people on here who know the seller and can either have a word or explain why it`s happenned and sort it for you.What part was it anyway?

Hope you sort it fella,its a good website and 99% are honest but sadly there seem to be one or two willing to spoil it for everyone.

If it helps,they usually get ratted out and the mods on here are excellent at recovering money,markyd3 is particularly fair.

well I called him, no ans, text him about this thread and he replied and should be getting my money early tomorrow! I will update you all tomorrow lol

 

Name and shame, it ALWAYS gets sorted out once someone is shamed on here!! No one wants to be known to have ripped someone off - especially if they know other members well.

well i said i would name and shame if neede but its not needed, he paid me back today so all is well in the end.
