Default water runing through turbo's?

as above is it really needed as am unsure if to do it or not on my zetec turbo (gt30)??......

plenty of people running them without the water feed on YB engines. it helps the cooling system alot.

not sure on a zetec tho

all gt turbos need watercooling, its easy to plumb them in

The GT core 100% needs water cooling mate - the GT series of turbos don't have the same volume of oil flowing through them and so can't absorb the heat sufficiently.

Yes a gt30 will need water cooling. Having a turbo cooler will help alot with water temps so would recommend one.

so is it fine to remove the water pipes from the T series turbo's?

t3s, t34s can run fine with no water cooling
