help find a car
I am looking for my old mk5 escort with a rst conversion. i sold it over a year ago and regretted it ever since. i know it were off the road for about 8 months but now i believe its back on the road according to the insurance database. Someone may of seen it or regonise its where abouts. I know it went to the st helens area.

tried the dvla website? That way you could find out if its still taxed etc. You could always play clever and call into your local DVLA office and say you`ve had a tax reminder or something through for the car which you found a bit odd and you were interested in contacting the owner as you`ve got a load of paperwork you`d like to send on to the new owner. At worst, they`ll probably offer to contact the owner for you and you could always offer to leave your details with them should the new keeper wish to contact you back.
If you have the new keepers address you can often find their telephone number form the bt website,obviously provided they have a landline.

Ahh,but the dvla website will show if its taxed too,a good signal that shes on the road.I think its www.taxdisconline.com or something,you can declare sorn etc on it.
