Default audi s3 any thing to look out for

I've just been offered a 2001 s3 in a deal, its got 140k on it but has full history and the second last owner had it for 5 years and owns a vag specialist garage and it does look mint condition.

Is there any thing I shoud be checking for if i decide to do a deal with the guy.

Cheers

I take it you went off the idea of a astraY coupe then. The mileage would put me off.How much are they fetching on auto trader with that mileage on.

seem to be around 4k for between 120 and 140k but looking at giving 3k for this one
the mileage is the only thing I'm worried about aswell, its a car for the missus not me allthough i will drive it a fair bit and it will replace my vectra gsi, supposed to be getting something cheaper to run but I'm still looking for a bit of fun as the cossie will be gone soon

Went to see it this morning forget about the milage this thing is mint with a massive file of history, everthing possible is documented and the car looks more like it has done 40k. It also has a miltek exhaust k&n and remap aswell as a brembo big brake conversion and bbs motorsport wheels. Needless to say it is now on my drive, done a deal with gsi cost me more than I wanted to spend but I think it's worth it.
