Default ERST Which Cam?

hey guys just had a rebuild and cam has let go just wondering some opinions on which cam to go for? Kent or piper? As Ive found a couple of both and always had kent in my car.

Neither of those if you want it to last more than 5 minutes lol.....Newman cam and solid lifters is the way to go, do a search on here and you'll find out all you need to know

i was going to suggest newman...but the list he put up id have the kent over the pipper anyday

i ran my rs turbo on a kent cam 10yrs ago with no drama`s.

10 years ago the blanks Kent/piper used were ok so the cams lasted......nowadays they just aren't! Pity as some of the Kent profiles are really good they just don't last sadly. I've worn out a newman cam in the past so not saying they're amazing but definately the best of a bad bunch where a cvh is concerned!

thanks for replys guys just had solid lifters in and aint goin that route again I have been seriously put off so sticking to hydraulic. Ive had 3 turbos all with kent so guessing I should stick with them

Newman would get my vote as well although I have used the Kent CVH35k in 3 RS Turbo's I've worked on and they've all given no bother and had some good miles put on them
