On holiday just outside Cartagena (south of alicante). Got a hire car and some diesel to use before I go bk. Anyone know of any scrapyards in the area? Always worth a look if any of you guys are more firmiliar with the area. I know there is a big one outside benidorm but that's too far away this time round. Saw it on Discovery's 'The Garage' and had loads of old fords and vw's in it but that was a few yrs ago now. Most probably rust free parts too haha

Always worth a look if one is more local. Might find some cool cars or parts for ppl!

rare to find now, my old man lives 45mins to teh north of banedorm and every one he knew abotu has now gone,! i was pissed to find them all gone, did see a saffcossis and a erst while i was there tho
saw a minter than mint white s2 a few years back too

few years ago there was a shady part of town with dozens of mk1/2 fiestas laid up smashed glass etc, sadly they have now done it all up and they are all gone, some very very rare parst there gone to the crush

on the road from torrevieja to bigastro (cv95) there are a few I visited them a couple of years ago when I reversed my dads car out there into a tipper truck breaking the rear light!!
there is also a huge one at the side of the AP7 motorway about 10 miles north of torrevieja on the way to allicante not been to it but it's huge..

Well I've seen afew 'abandoned' fiestas last few times. Including sum English registered mk1 fez's and a mk3 escort just laid up on wasteland with a tax disc from the early 90's. Annoyingly enough most Spanish registered stuff have things like front opening quarter glass etc but as u say, most have gone with all this recent redevelopment everywhere.

Big shame. So tempted to come down within empty trailer. Seen a vw campervan wedged in a hedge also!
