Registering a car in Spain....Advice

Does anyone know what the laws are regarding emissions and registering a modified car in Spain?

U cant modify cars in spain lol

Just keep it there on a uk licence but unsure how it works lol

a mate of mine lives there for 6 months a year and has looked into registering the car, he recons that they only want him to change the headlamps.
