It's just nice to get from A to B without the need of the RAC

Don't get me wrong. I use to like all my old Cossy's and there is a really nice smokestone in the for sale section at the moment that's tempting, but .....

if its maintained well then theres no reason why it would give problems.

Just have to go through it with a fine tooth coombe which you will eventually have to do to the focus in a few years anyway.

If you want reliable, use the daily, if you want excitement and drama use the cossie

1 thing I should've said was the Saff was insured for Ł4000 and my Focus is insured for an agreed value of Ł11,000.

I'll save that on breakdown insurance

It's better than paying Ł400 odd a year for a fucking BM which sucks squirt like a bitch and just keeps going. Its good but bland and boring in a nice sort of way

Thats strange as for me the FRS would be cheaper to insure than my Cosworth, it's also a lower insurance group as well, so it must be to do as said due to the value.

Back to the question I would say FRS if for every day, nothing to do with the car itself rather other people, it really would be a suprise if you came back to find it where you left it or the way you left it.

Cosworths now really have to be second cars unless you protect them with a ring of barbed wire!

I tracked my old Mk 1 FRS (274bhp) several times with Righthooker in his 360(?)bhp 3 door, very little in it, the only difference appeared on the straights, and the Focus went through corners much faster (that diff is superb on track, bloody dangerous on the road tho IMO). The car felt unburstable too, never let me down, and topped out at 158 whilst having a play with an e46 M3 onece upon a time.....do the maths power/weight.

Cracking cars the Focus, but so is a stage 3 Cossie.
