Default Handsfree car kits

Guys

Looking to get a bluetooth hands free car kit fitted - have heard loads about them but in real terms know very little ! Don't just want one of those crappy things that clips on the sun visor, after a proper fitted kit that you don't have to shout into to be heard, and when I'm on the phone I can hear whoever is on the other end of the line clearly too. I know some systems work through the stereo speakers, but does anyone know about about them and more importantly - have any real world experience of them?

Any views / stories welcome !

I have fitted a Parrot CK3100 to all of the cars in our family bar the first one which I had fitted.

Its a piece of cake to fit and the quality of the calls is unbelievably good

Voice dialing, contatcts sync etc and it plays back through your stereo and mutes stereo when it rings etc. ie no need to touch your handset or stereo incall.

Great product

My mate has a Parrot one in his car, it's AWESOME! Works flawlessly with the iPhone too.

Cool, seem to be the ones to go for. Asked around at work and they're what everyone here uses. Got my eye on the 3200 which seems cool.

Cheers chaps !

I've got a 3200 in my car and used to fit loads of them, dead easy to fit, adaptors are available for pretty much any car through autoleads or connects2 so you'll never have to cut any wires etc

Parrot gets my vote too, fitted loads of these now and never had a single problem. Mine has even survived me sticking a bloody great amplifier up its bottom.

Yeh Parrot - I fitted these all day long.

Only thing is - what car is it going in to?

If you're putting it in an old car like your S1 it will be useless due to road noise, if you're putting it in a more modern car it will be fine.

Age of Mondeo?

Type of stereo

It will need an adapter unless you have an aftermarket stereo with ISO on it.
