Is there any particular lesson the video's trying to teach, or is it just pointing out that hard heavy things tend to do damage to squidy light things? Very few of the clips seem to have a common thread - some seem to be based on speed, others on not paying attention, other just on people driving like cocks, and others are just freak accidents.

Hmm.

From what I see it is just a montage of clips from around the net put into the one video with an Evanescence song over it

Hmm.

thats the point!! its showing that if you drive like a cock, not paying attention, overtaking round blind corners (and hills) that you are very likely to end up killing yourself and/or someone else.

its teaching people to drive safely!!

it appears you are missing the point. yes it is a montage of clips, some are government adds, some are actual real accidents that really did happen. the point is that it should teach you how NOT to drive on the public road and unfortunately how some people still do. i only hope that the people who still do drive like that on the public road kill them selves and not anyone else!!

I like the way it's alway's made out to be "speeding" that kill's, I think you'd find you could be doing 70MPH on a motorway and still kill someone by been in/ivolved in a car "accident"

Doesn't really phase me at all i drive the way i see the road fit for at that time, I'm a very carefull driver but i have moment's, I'm nicknamed "miss daisy".

I think at the end of the day pedestrians are just as bloody stupid as some driver's out there, Walking across a road with light's or crossing etc!

I love the way blame is shifted to the driver, I remember the "green cross code" at my middle school and i tell you if that was still about then people would be so dumb to walk out into the road!

I could be wrong it could still been taught (green cross code) but it take's to tango in everything in this life if you got a stupid pedestrian then an accident could happen, If you have a stupid driver an accident could happen,

i agree that too much of the time its put down to speed. i honestly believe that speed does not kill, its the driver driving beyond the limits of themselves/the car/the road/conditions that kills not the speed itself! however, that compilation is as much about driver awareness and making stupid decisions as it is about speed.

i also agree with you on pedestrians. in hatfield i was driving past a kids school at kicking out time with only one car in front of me and we were doing 20-25 mph. i was in my modded escort with LOUD exhaust, car in front passed a load of pedestrians (parents with little kids) waiting to cross and then without lucking a women with a young child stepped out in the road infront of me! (it was at a shickane aswell so only 1 lane wide!) i did an emegency stop but by the time my car had stopped she was level with my drivers door!!! luckily she had only taken one step and not 2 otherwise she and her shild would have been under my car!!!

still, would have been one for the Darwin awards but i bet i would have been presecuted!!
