i thought ed turners was up a bit from maccy d's opposite the newer halifax.. the guy at the back who had a little corner of the showroom went on to start speedshack in west drayton.... steve had a mk3 cortina estate/van thing in orange while i had a modena green 2000e......

seems ages ago though.......................... hang on it was....

born and bred in hayes but left a while ago now so memory may be a little faded..

And? I'm sure you have a point there somewhere Does this look like a direct "Ford" to Ford fit???

Or the one next to it with an 11.8 litre twin turbo?

Ford didn't make a V8 Granada, that one above is in Norway. 1200bhp if I remember rightly.

yes they did for the South Africa market, it was a mk1 and was a PERANA same as the mk1 capri v8, had a 5.0 v8 not many made, but were a special order model like the capri, not many people know the granada had the same option available http://perana.org/granada.php

The golf VW did with the mid mounted lambo V10 was pretty mad (anyone remember it on top gear?), reckon with proper development it could of been awesome. Anyone remember squints pick up with 2 engines? Really liked that car, was bonkers for its day I reckon. There are V8 bolt in kits for focuses in the states.

Seen a side on pic of that but I'd like to see some engine bay pics.
It's a very different conversion but I can't understand why you would fwd it,the diesel lump will bolt to a type 9 box as there were plenty sierra td taxis back in the day.
