Looks like it will be ace. Look forward to seeing that, just hope they keep it authentic/realistic.

Been really looking forward to this for well over a year now.

Neil Maskell who played Darren Nicholls in ROTFS is playing Craig Rolfe in this.

Really strong cast IMO

 

Of course it is.... Just ROTFS was through Charlton Leach's view....This is basicly through someone else by the looks of it!

Exactly, so it will be different...

I don't know the facts more than anyone else, but IMO this will be the most accurate dramatisation to date, and the best film.

Carlton Leach's story all build up to the Rettendon Murders at the climax, but that's little more than an extended sub plot in ROTFS.

I've seen all the films, read all the books (ROTFS, Essex Boys, Bloggs 19) and looked at old news footage and press articles online, so they may be all be about the same thing, but it's no less interesting to see/read them all.

 

It may be more of the same but thats fine by me, loved the previous films so this can go in the collection too.

 

Will be giving this a watch, Rise of the Foot Soldier is one of my top films!

 

the range rover that was involved in the actual murders was on ebay about two years back now... had been all cleaned up and repaired. some sick people about

 

I would of thought the actual car would be an insurance write off never to be put back on the road?

Maybe back then the legislation wasn't in place that is now?

 

I'm surprised it got released back into the mainstream and wasn't cut up/crushed.

From what I remember it was removed from sale quite quickly, there were suggestions that the seller might have been "persuaded" to remove it pronto by someone.

I doubt anybody on here will be that bothered, or clued up on the law to appreciate it, but read the judges summing up (quite a lengthy document) that is also on that site.
