I think even you are upto that one Spiky.....lol
Yer, no worries. You just remove the mechanical clock out the front of the boiler and slot this one in its place and plug the wires in. Then the wireless thermostat just goes in the hall or where ever you want it in the house and you control it all from there mate.
There will be full instructions with it

Yo Tiff.... how easy is it to relocate a hot water tank?
Ive got one in an airing cupboard in the bathroom, but want to move it to a cupboard outside of ther bathroom, (but backs on to the bathroom, if you get what I mean)
As I want to make more space before I gutt the room and get a wet room fitted!

cheers mate,

Do you mean move the hot water cylinder or just the hot water tank that feeds the cylinder as they are usually in the roof space.??
If its the cylinder then it is easy enough if you are competant enough to give it a go. It is just a case of draining everything down, relocating the cylinder then piping it all back up as it was aslong as you down have any pipes "Backfalling" if you know wjhat i mean as this will cause airlocks.
Bit yes Dave, piss easy for a DIY Guru like yourself

Yes the cylinder mate. Ive had a look and there are a lot of copper pipes in the airing cupboard attached to it!!
Our heating system is a gas boiler in the kitchen that does the central heating AND the tap water..
the hot water cylinder in the bathroom however has a heater built in to it attached to a timer that can also be used.. its this an emmersion heater??
Ive currently drained the entire central heating system as I have removed radiators for redecorating/plastering, so the boiler is switched off. We use this electric timer / emmersion for our hot water at the mo

Yes Dave, thats the emersion heater.
What you would have to do is drain the hot water system aswell.....then move the cylinder......then reconnect the pipework EXACTLY as it is at the minute......

dave iif its a primatic cylinder there shouldn't be too much involved just pipe for pipe as tiff has said, if its indirect it shouldbe ok as above with couple more pipe but if its fully pumped with a 3 way valve and shit you best leave it to a plumber mate...
No idea mate, here is a pic of it. Does it help?

not really mate, how many plastic header tanks do you have in the loft ? one or two ?
the way that pipe comes on the right hand, thats generally the primary flow from the boiler, which, in a gravity system would always rise from the boiler to prevent air lock, that one doesn't which kinda suggests fully pumped with a 3 way diverter valve, more so cos its run in 22mm pipe,
the pipe off the top is hot water draw off and vent which is always the same,
