good luck with being a mechanic, i always wanted to be one, i have worked on cars for years since i was little.
i started my apprenticehip, got part trained then the boss realised he had to pay the other lad who was a year ahead of me more money out of his own pocket so he made me redundant and gave him my wages,
i couldnt find another garage so i lost the apprenrticehip and my qualifications.
then i worked as a trye fitter for a while and got screwed over. cant get back into te trade now! propper gutted! im too old to go back to college unless i can pay for it and with a baby on the way and bills to pay i cant afford that! am in and out of work with agencies forklift driving now!

mate, im 17 at the moment and trust me when your like 15 you have all these mad ideas that seem so possible, but when u actually get to 17 and u start adding upp how much all this stuff costs its mad. buy a mk1/2 fiesta and get familiar with the ford designs then buy a mk2 when its a little more feasible. mine is a 1.1 kept on a private estate, in a locked, alarmed, heated garage used for 5K a year with my mum and dad on it is 2500 a year WITHOUT MODS! mk2 escort will be around about 4K

i know... thats what i have just tried to explain. the insurance is nearly double the fiesta. + the actual cost of buying one.
look at the link to my mk1 fiesta, that owes me 1350 all together. and i have learnt all about how the classic fords work. the fiestas have the same engines to more or less, just gay wheel drive.

get your licence first, get some experience driving in real conditions then think about a track car.
Track cars arent cheap to buy, mod, run or even insure if you plan on using it on the road - especially at your age.
Not only that but why are you even looking at performance cars atyour age - you could not get insured on one for reasonable money unless you are fed with a golden spoon.
honestly..stop dreaming
