Do you mean a T34 (large turbo escos)

Have you fitted a new chip to suit the T34?

ya need a t34 chip for stage 3 otherwise ya gonna got rich lower revs and lean when ya come on boost, even if ya run the same amount of boost you are actually flowing more air

with a t34 and a propber chip between 22psi and 25psi ( mind im holding 26.5 psi , dont tell stu )

only 26.5psi?
you obviously want reliability
I run my T34's or 35's at 34 Peak and 30 held, everyone says the YB motor is unreliable so I will just help it on its way

but the cars deicded to hold 26.5 psi , alot fookign stronger in 3rd 4th and 5th too

no 30psi on greens is well well well well well lean, fuel presure will be jacked up soooooo high, dont even think ya could map it high revs under load in 4th and 5th at 30psi, it must tail off high revs

in answer to your question, you run the bost that the chip is mapped for.

also as said above, amke sure the chip is for your exact spec (ie T34) or it will be a ticking time bomb

well its safe for my driving , also mine drops back down to 25.5 at 5200rpm in 4th and 5th

i never rag the car anyway and if i do im never at full throttle as im too scared and so rarley hold 26.5psi

was testing the other day and thats when i discovered it , i never do more that 130mph anyway and mostly i do between 90 to 100 to 105mph

so im safe , dont do racing either as i spend too much time looking at me rev counter to mnake sure im not over 6 grand

so what sort of boost is regarded as 'safe' on a cossie?

assuming that the engine internals are standard?
(as reguards rods etc)

on a T34/5 turbo that is
running say dark greens..

this would help me out too !
thanks!

if youre so happy, why are you not running a DIFFERENT boost level, and completely ignoring his advice

beleive it ot not al, actually do give 2 shits about you and your car and dont want to see the damn thing go wrong.

who wrote the software in your ecu? thats the person you need to speak too! just because its running a stage three conversion dont mean it WILL be running 23psi,,,so its best to ask whoever tuned it

and by the way,, there isnt a safe boost,,,, not without checking fueling/det
